VeMeet started as a small, personal project: a way to hand someone a card at an event and know it wouldn't end up in the bottom of a bag by Monday.
VeMeet is the project we wanted to exist the last time we walked out of a meetup with a pocket full of cards we'd never look at again. Paper cards get lost. Contact exchanges over a phone screen feel transactional. And every "add me on LinkedIn" is a promise that rarely gets kept.
VeChain gave me the missing piece: a chain fast and cheap enough that minting an NFT on the spot, at an event, for free, is actually realistic, plus a kit that lets someone log in with a Google account and never see the words "seed phrase." So the card itself became the idea: mint it once, hand it over as a link or a QR code, and let the person receiving it claim a real copy into a wallet they control.
VeMeet is built as a focused, founder-led project, not a platform racing to do everything at once. We'd rather ship one thing well, handing someone your details, than a dozen things that never quite convince anyone.

Your card lives in your wallet, not behind our login screen. If VeMeet disappeared tomorrow, your card wouldn't.
A good business card exchange takes five seconds. Ours takes one scan and one tap; everything else is us staying out of the way.
Half the people claiming a card have never held a wallet before. We built for them first, not for the people already comfortable with gas fees.
