What exactly is VeMeet?

VeMeet turns a business card into an NFT. You create one card with your details, share a single link or QR code, and anyone who scans it can claim their own copy: a real token, in their own wallet.

Do I need to know anything about crypto to use it?

No. You can sign in with a Google account the same way you would on any other site. A wallet is created for you behind the scenes. If you already use a wallet like VeWorld, you can connect that instead.

What does it cost to create a card?

A one-time fee, paid in VET, set by us and shown before you confirm. It covers deploying your card's own contract on VeChain and the first 500 copies anyone can claim from it. For comparison: 100 printed cards run you roughly €15-25 and need reordering the moment you run out, and most digital-card apps charge a monthly subscription. VeMeet is paid once, for up to 500 shares.

What does it cost to claim a card?

Nothing. Claiming is free. VeMeet covers the network fee for social-login wallets, so the person receiving your card never needs to hold any cryptocurrency to get it.

What happens once 500 people have claimed my card?

Accepted Answer

You can top up the same card for another batch of claims, at a discount off the original creation price. Your card keeps its history, it doesn't reset or get replaced.

Can I edit my card after I've created it?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. A card's details are set once, permanently, at creation. That's what makes every copy of it identical and verifiable. If your details change, create a new card and share the new link going forward.

Why VeChain, specifically?

VeChain keeps network fees low enough that claiming a card is genuinely free for us to sponsor, and it's built to make wallets, including social-login wallets, normal to use without prior crypto experience.

Where does my card's data actually live?

Accepted Answer

Your card's details are stored on-chain as part of its contract. Any AI-generated artwork is stored on DigitalOcean and referenced permanently from the card. Nothing about your card lives behind a VeMeet login.

Who can see what's on my card?

Accepted Answer

Anyone with the link, and anyone who claims it, the same as a physical business card. Don't put anything on it you wouldn't hand a stranger at a meetup.

What if I lose access to my wallet?

Accepted Answer

If you signed in with a social login, recovery works the same way as the account you signed in with. If you connected your own wallet like VeWorld, you're responsible for its recovery phrase, same as with any wallet.

Can a company issue cards for a whole team?
